Terms and conditions
These terms are a general template for customers booking with Surrey Link Transport. Please read them carefully. (You should review and tailor these terms to your exact operation and legal requirements.)
1) Bookings
- Bookings are accepted subject to vehicle availability and confirmation.
- Please provide accurate pickup/drop-off addresses, times, passenger counts and luggage details.
- For home-to-school / SEN work, timings and arrangements may be agreed separately via the council/school/parent/carer.
2) Prices & payment
- Prices may be fixed quotes, agreed contract rates, or mileage/time-based depending on the service.
- Where online payments are offered, card payments may be processed via a third-party payment provider.
- Receipts can be provided on request.
3) Changes, cancellations & no-shows
- Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel a booking.
- If a passenger does not attend at the agreed pickup time (“no-show”), charges may apply.
- For contract work (e.g., council routes), cancellation rules may be governed by the contract terms.
4) Waiting time
- Drivers may wait a reasonable amount of time at pickup, but additional waiting charges may apply.
- Airport pickups may include waiting time based on flight landing time and baggage collection.
5) Passenger responsibilities
- Passengers must wear seat belts and follow the driver’s reasonable instructions for safety.
- Any child seats or special requirements should be requested in advance where possible.
- Damage or excessive soiling to the vehicle may be chargeable.
6) Liability
- We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., traffic incidents, road closures, weather).
- Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by law.
